この曲はプエルトリコの移民の娘たちが、故郷のプエルトリコとアメリカとのお国比べを歌ったものだ。

アニタはシャークスダンのリーダーの恋人、アメリカでの生活に慣れしたんでしまったので、アメリカ人は敵であるにかかわらず、プエルトリコよりは素敵な世界だと歌う。
