この曲は1950年に大ヒットしたミュージカル映画「アニーよ銃を取れ」の中で歌われた。歌ったのは主演女優のベティ・ハットンだった。余りに好評だったので、その後この曲をテーマにしたエセル・マーマン主演のミュージカル映画も作られた。
